VeriQR performs verification entirely on your device. The app does not collect, store, transmit, or process personal information about you or any certificate holder, including names, contact details, location data, device identifiers, IP addresses, or images beyond the moment they are processed.
VeriQR uses cryptographic and digital signature verification to authenticate QR-coded certificates (Visible Digital Seals). It reads the encrypted data embedded in a VDS code and uses a securely embedded digital certificate solely to decrypt and verify the signature.
All scanning and verification occur locally on your device. No information is uploaded to Relief Validation Limited servers or shared with any third party.
VeriQR requests access to your device's camera solely to scan QR/VDS codes in real time. Images and video are not recorded or stored.
The app does not request access to contacts, microphone, location, or other sensitive device permissions except those required to open a document that you choose to verify.
Verification runs in a secure and isolated environment on your device. The embedded cryptographic certificate is protected against tampering, and we regularly review and update our security measures.
VeriQR does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
VeriQR does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or data-sharing services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, or our operations. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
